Sponsorship Opportunities
Your support is needed so Horses of Tir Na Nog can continue creating a safe haven for horses in need.
Annual care costs for a horse at Horses of Tir Na Nog totals close to $3,000. This includes farrier and veterinary care, as well as the "every day" costs of food and supplements. In order to continue to provide the best possible care for our residents, our horses need sponsors.
Full sponsorship is available at $2,000 for horses
Full sponsorship is available at $1,000 for burros, llamas, and alpacas.
Sheep sponsorship is available at $500
Partial sponsorships are available for all three categories as well.
Sponsors are listed on our Web Site and receive a 5 by 7 photo of the animal(s) they sponsor. They also receive the heart-felt gratitude of the resident they sponsor.
We also invite community members to sponsor a "Farrier Day." Every seven weeks our farriers visit the ranch trim hooves and check for lameness. A typically farrier visit costs $1,300. With seven Farrier Days each year, this represents a significant portion of our annual budget. Please consider sponsoring a Farrier Day with a donation of $1,000.

Joanne Fund Details
"Joanne" came to us an unnamed, emaciated rescue from County of San Diego Department of Animal Services on November 1, 2009. Her sponsor named her Joanne in memory of her mother, Joanne Siebenaler. Sadly, Joanne’s time with us was tragically short. In response to this loss, Joanne’s sponsor used her sponsorship funds to set up a special account for future Department of Animal Services horses in need of immediate placement with us. In 2010, this fund allowed us to say "YES!" to both Ella and Isis. Donations to this fund replenish it so that we can always say "YES!" to horses taken in by Department of Animal Services. Donations of any size are appreciated.
